The Barbados Homeless and Vagrants Society costs $700,000 per year to run efficiently if funded to the level it really needs.
This disclosure came from the Society’s founder Kemar Saffrey at the BHTA’s first quarterly meeting at Hilton Barbados on Wednesday morning.
He told the members at the Needham’s Ballroom that 50 former vagrants have been repatriated to families and jobs.
